Robotics Engineering Class

• 7 weeks session – $100

• 7 weeks session with pick-up – $170 (pick up: PS31, PS 110, PS 132, PS 34)

• Session includes open play pass before or after class

WEEK 1

• Engineering – 1, 2, 3 Lift Off  (Students watch as solid dissolve in liquid and create a chemical reaction that will blast off their projects)

 

WEEK 2

• Engineering – Whirling Wonder (What makes a helicopter fly? Learn how a propeller works)

 

WEEK 3

• Engineering – Airplane (Learn about the flying forces of an airplane)

 

WEEK 4

• Robotics – Cams vs Gears vs Wheels (Similar looking elements with different functions)

 

WEEK 5

• Robotics – Sensors (Learn about the functions of different sensors to make a robot autonomous)

 

WEEK 6

• Robotics – Gearing up (Create a spinning top and test the spin of the top by gearing up or down)

 

WEEK 7

• Robotics – Mars Rover (Build a rover that can move autonomously and collect information)
